i'm not complaining either. any day it's 70+ degrees in the county is a good day for me. (although there's still a bit of snow on the ground...melt, dammit!)
Hah! I was actually thinking, "I bet there's still snow on the ground somewhere."

The snow cannot melt fast enough!
Regarding item #2: "Screenshot or it never happened". You know the rules!
Oh, but you got a screenshot! You just didn't get THE screenshot! :D

*points to the bloody eggs*
[this is good]
ahhh maine. i love our state! so...unpredictable. congrats on your etsy sales!!! that's so awesome! (what's your secret?)
My secret is: stylehive.com, thisnext.com, kaboodle.com and wists.com. I've started plugging my own work and a lot of Etsians' work on those sites.

Also, advertising on craigslist.org, and any of the other freebie "post an ad" sites

I've also been participating a lot on the Etsy forums and in treasuries. I joined up with flickr.com and myspace.com and found a bunch of Etsians in those communities as well!

Though I'm pretty sure the only thing that's truly generating sales at this point is blind luck. ;)
Woot! congrats on your sales! I have sold one item since I opened up shop. I'm not doing much to promote though. I thought about selling some of my photos, and illustrations, but I don't know how I'd print em out for sale. Do you print them on your printer or do you take them to a photocopy shop? I work in an industrial print shop, but to print my own work would cost a lot. It would have to go to pre press, then proofed, then out to me to print on the printing press.
I currently use ezprints.com to outsource my prints, but I'm probably going to be changing printers soon... ezprints is proving to be unreliable in terms of shipping. :(

So I ordered a calibration kit from http://www.iprintfromhome.com, because I've heard great things about them from other Etsy members! I haven't ordered anything from them yet, but I will soon!

I could have everything printed at our local photo lab, but they're a bit pricey. It's cheaper to go through an online company, even with the cost of shipping!
